We are looking for a passionate and driven Marketing Manager who truly wants to use their marketing and communication skills to make a difference to the lives of others.

You will be a key part of our Wirral communications team, ensuring all our clients' problems are solved with strategic and creative solutions. You will have detailed knowledge of modern marketing practices to deliver business success for clients and build agency reputation.

You will be a great member of the team and valued advisor and partner to clients and will have the opportunity to create campaigns that truly change peoples lives for the better.

You will have a love and a passion for behaviour change, understanding of what motivates and engages people. Behaviour change experience is an advantage but we can support you to switch you marketing mind and skillset to a behavioural approach.

Having agency experience will be an advantage.

  • Have a strong understanding of integrated marketing communications principles.
  • Have a solid understanding of modern marketing capabilities (e.g., strategy, social, CX, data analytics, digital marketing, creative martech, CRM etc.) and experience in integrating it into every applicable project to create great work.
  • Are a skilled storyteller with the ability to synthesise complex information to write, proof, edit and distribute compelling SEO smart content for different audiences, adopt the style, tone of voice and visual content to increase customer engagement.
  • Love relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project outcomes.
  • Have the ability to get buy-in and support for projects from diverse and often widespread stakeholders. Able to think ahead from technical expertise (of project management and production) and relationships to smooth problem-solving.
  • Can facilitate multiple specialists, personalities and opinions.
  • Love being a trusted client advisor, you can listen to clients' needs and give them the best advice to strike the right balance of protecting client and agency interests.
  • Have strong organisational skills to ensure client and internal objectives and goals are met, including the ability to establish priorities, plan and organise work to meet deadlines, resolve issues and manage diverse responsibilities with resilience under pressure.
  • Have a full driving licence and be able to drive to other offices.

What you will do

  • Produce and deliver enticing, engaging, audience-led behaviour change marketing to help our clients achieve their goals.
  • Work with colleagues to ensure data/insight is used to set goals/KPIs to monitor the performance of client projects and campaigns to report internally and externally on agreed metrics and budgets.
  • Produce effective plans to ensure efficient delivery, manage conflicting priorities, allocating suitable time and resources to meet delivery timescales.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide customer insight at key points in projects and develop digital and visual assets as part of a multi-channel approach to deliver an end-to-end client service
  • Work closely with sales and the team to strengthen our marketing position, boost our pipeline and forecast income.
  • Lead in the development and deployment of projects, both internal & external. This includes writing bids/proposals, creating and presenting pitches and relationship building with prospective clients.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, or equivalent experience. BSc in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or relevant field/equivalent experience
  • Professional qualification or membership in a professional administration body such as the CIM or CIPR is desirable.
