The Opportunity

Due to an upcoming internal move we now have a Senior Account Manager role available within the Greggs team. The Senior Account Manager will report directly into the Account Director and will be responsible for 2 team members within the business.

We began our relationship with Greggs over 14 years ago, we’ve supported Greggs on their growth journey from a regional bakery to a national Food On The Go retailer.

We are responsible for all the in-shop POS comms and digital signage. We have daily contact with the client as well as weekly formal WIP sessions and attend various briefing sessions working collaboratively with the marketing and category teams.

Throughout the course of the year we produce all content, both print and digital, across the full estate of 2000+ stores within the UK and Ireland. This comprises of 5 seasonal campaigns that promote Greggs’ quality and value credentials, alongside any new product launches for the year.

Within a campaign launch, we manage all photography requirements, any associated menu updates, and work up all printed content (from window posters to till-top strut cards) into animated content for in-shop digital signage.

Alongside all in-shop communication we also work on ad-hoc projects which include packaging, local marketing, shop development and colleague comms.

The Requirements

Building and maintaining client relationships, strong business acumen, guiding strategy & creative need to be your forte. Whilst using your skills to oversee your account managers you’ll need to juggle, brief and deliver multiple creative projects on time, on budget and on brief.

We’re looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Adept client management skills (manages expectations, builds trust, communicates well)
  • Skilled in ensuring our client satisfaction is always glowing and our output top notch
  • Able to build core relationships with key clients of varying levels
  • Ability to execute multiple fast-paced projects across a large client with multiple stakeholders
  • Able to lead the delivery of projects from resource requests, brief writing, creative development and presenting work to clients
  • Able to deliver projects with excellence (error free, on brief, on budget, on time)
  • Financial management, forecasting, estimating and business generation
  • Possesses tenacity and drive required to see a job through to the end
  • Highly intelligent, but also has a good dose of common sense
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Can juggle multiple tasks, but knows when to raise a hand for help
  • A natural team player who fits well into a collaborative, friendly team
  • Holds a curious mind, hungry to learn and experience new things
