Job Description

Castles & Coasts Housing Association (CCHA) is currently looking to recruit a permanent, full time Communications Manager, based in Carlisle, Newcastle or Workington, with a salary of £45,875 – £49,454 per annum.

CCHA owns and manages more than 7,000 homes across the North of England in Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear and North Lancashire.  As an Association, we focus on the needs of the local communities we serve, tackling the housing crisis, improving services within our communities, and use our strength and efficiency to meet housing service needs.  We are committed to providing excellent services to our customers.

Great communication enables us to be an excellent housing provider and employer and we  are creating a new Communications Team, who will be responsible for ensuring our internal and external communications meet the needs of our residents and staff, whilst ensuring our reputation is positively presented and managed, in line with our values.

We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual, who is an excellent communicator, with the ability to tailor communications across a wide range of stakeholders. You will be passionate about what we do and act as a brand and reputation ambassador; ensuring we have consistent, excellent communication running through everything we do.
