Account Manager

Job Description

We’re on the lookout for an exceptional Account Manager, who will work with our existing team to take responsibility for the planning, management and evaluation of the marketing communications work that we deliver across our industry-leading global B2B client portfolio.

You’ll have the opportunity to work in close collaboration with our specialist service line teams (PR, content, strategy, digital, creative) to deliver strategic, fully integrated campaigns for the biggest brands in health, nutrition and food ingredients, among other B2B sectors.

We like to work flexibly and fluidly based on the needs of our clients and your own preferences. A ‘one size fits all’ approach to role responsibility and personal development is not what we’re about at BDB.

Our current recruitment needs have arisen primarily due to continued organic growth and referrals from our loyal and highly-valued client base – and we want to give all of the team the opportunity to build their own career paths, in line with this unprecedented demand for our expertise.

Ideally, you’ll have:

The confidence to be the day-to-day interface for clients bringing a collaborative, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving – it is especially important that you embrace working with individuals across different cultures and time zones.

Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintain a keen eye for detail.

B2B experience within science/nutrition/pharma. If you haven’t had that type of opportunity yet, then we’d be looking for a demonstratable interest in how the world around us works… or at least a fascination with food!

At BDB, our people are our most important asset (they have to be because without them we’re nothing!) so here’s what you can expect as a BDB team member.

First up, we are 100% employee owned.  What does this mean? Essentially, every single person in the business has a say in what the future of BDB looks like. From commercial growth down to what pub to go to on a Thursday night, we don’t believe in hierarchy, but we do believe that everyone should have a say in the future of their career and their workplace.

Being part of an employee-owned business also means you get a profit share in the company AND the potential for a tax-free, annual bonus (based off company and individual performance) of up to £3,600.

As well as above-market salaries and the standard stuff you get for turning up to work, we offer unlimited holidays (yes, you read that right), flexible working (we’re working from either our Altrincham HQ or new central Manchester office twice a week on whatever days suit you… and we’ve just introduced a trial remote week from wherever you want in the world!), a premium healthcare plan, transport schemes and regular social and away days.

Sound like something you’d be keen to know more about?
