Transport for Greater Manchester is seeking a Senior Account Manager for our Bee Network team, taking a leading role in helping to manage relationships with our operations teams and develop communications campaigns and plans for a range of different client areas including Metrolink, bus, cycling and walking, major projects and fares and ticketing. 

You will also drive the delivery of projects on behalf of clients working as part of a matrix team of communications, marketing and engagement professionals. 

This is a key role working in a busy, fast-paced team which will require the ability to closely manage multiple client relationships, effectively influence and collaborate with other teams and develop close working relationships across the organisation to deliver insight-led marketing, communications and engagement activity.

We're seeking a well-organised, innovative communications professional who can juggle multiple projects and clients, oversee the delivery of plans and keep the project delivery teams on track. You must have a successful track record in devising and delivering high quality creative content strategies, digital content strategies and delivering effective media engagement strategies.

We are also keen to attract candidates who use audience insight to effectively deliver creative content strategies, have experience of negotiating and influencing stakeholders both internally and externally and have experience of managing and delivering projects on time and on budget. 

Importantly, the ideal candidate will know how to foster an environment of collaboration, creativity, support and teamwork, with experience in managing people and helping them to progress. They’ll know how to manage effectively upwards and downwards and understand the benefits of clear internal communications between teams.

This role will be ideal for someone with account management/director level experience in an agency or the equivalent role within an in-house team used to manging multiple clients and brands.
