ArmstrongB2B® is a 55 strong, multidisciplinary agency that offers strategy, design, digital, social media, 3D, animation, photography, video & motion from a single source. We are based in Chester city centre and work globally with world leading industrial manufacturing brands. We develop marketing strategies that deliver exceptional ROI for our customers. Our work includes rebrand and repositioning, commercial strategy, integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, market diversification. We also work clients on product animations, innovative web platforms, corporate videos, photography shoots and exhibition support.

We’re on the lookout for a Junior Designer with big ideas and a keen eye for design. You’ll be joining a supportive and ambitious creative team who are passionate about ideas, craft, and making work that engages the right audience. This is a great opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to exciting projects for global brands. You’ll work closely with senior creatives who will help guide and inspire you, while also giving you space to bring your own ideas to the table. Ideally, you’ll have 1–2 years of design experience along with a portfolio that shows your creativity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of visual storytelling. Please note all of our roles are based 5 days per week at our Chester City Centre offices.

  • Support the design team across a variety of projects, from initial concepting to final delivery
  • Create assets for digital, print, and social media, following brand guidelines and design direction
  • Assist in developing moodboards, mockups, and presentation decks to communicate ideas clearly
  • Collaborate with senior designers and creatives, learning from feedback and refining your craft
  • Keep up to date with design trends, tools, and techniques, and bring fresh inspiration to the team
  • Support the wider team with general creative tasks, from research to image sourcing and asset management
  • Be adaptable and open-minded, ready to jump on new tasks and learn on the go
  • Take ownership of smaller briefs, delivering well-crafted work with guidance and feedback
  • A strong portfolio that shows creative thinking, good design instincts, and a passion for visual storytelling
  • 1–2 years of experience ideally in a studio or agency setting
  • A good understanding of design principles
  • Willingness to learn and grow, taking on feedback and direction with a positive attitude
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for all things design – from trends to tools to new ways of working
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (bonus points for Figma or motion tools)
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to juggle tasks and meet deadlines
  • A can-do attitude, ready to take ownership of small projects and contribute to bigger ones
  • A genuine passion for design and creativity, and a desire to build your career in a fast-paced, inspiring environment

Salary £25-30,000 DOE
