As an AP Lead, you’ll oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable function for a high-growth shared services environment, acting as the primary liaison across vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate accounting, policy and tax compliance, timely disbursements, and continual process optimization.
Lead and coordinate the Accounts Payable team, ensuring balanced workload distribution
Supervise invoice intake, validation, coding, and supplier reconciliation
Ensure on-time payments in alignment with policies, controls, and cash flow priorities
Review and approve AP reconciliations, aging reports, and monthly close deliverables
Manage key vendor relationships; resolve billing disputes and discrepancies
Monitor and report AP KPIs (aging, throughput, discounts captured, exceptions)
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, local tax regulations, and audit requirements
Identify and execute process improvements; support automation and digitalization initiatives
Partner with Treasury/Finance on cash flow projections and payment scheduling
Report periodically to the Head of SS on AP status, risks, and improvement plans
Other duties as assigned
4–6 years of relevant AP experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and local tax regulations
Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
Intermediate to advanced English communication skills
Leadership and team management capabilities
Strong organization, planning, and attention to detail
Analytical, results-oriented, and KPI-driven mindset
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Adaptability with a continuous improvement focus
