The role

We are seeking a Salesforce QA Engineer with strong experience testing Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications. This role will support end-to-end testing for multiple Salesforce implementations, ensuring high-quality releases through strong functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing practices.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience creating and executing test plans, writing detailed test cases, performing API testing, validating third-party integrations, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Experience with Postman and defect management tools is required.

You will work closely with Salesforce developers, administrators, product owners, and project managers to maintain high-quality standards and support continuous delivery pipelines.

What you’ll do

  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom-built features.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scripts, and documentation aligned to business and technical requirements.

  • Perform API testing using Postman to validate integrations with third-party systems.

  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects; collaborate with developers and admins to reproduce, resolve, and verify fixes.

  • Review user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements to ensure adequate test coverage.

  • Support UAT planning and execution, including coordinating with business stakeholders and providing training or user guidance when needed.

  • Validate data accuracy, system workflows, boundary cases, and end-to-end business processes.

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, refinement, QA readiness, and retrospectives.

  • Contribute to knowledge management through documentation, test artifacts, and process improvements.

  • Assist in improving QA processes, standards, and automation opportunities across Salesforce environments.

Who you are

  • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce QA Analyst/Engineer.

  • Strong hands-on experience with manual testing across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or custom Salesforce implementations.

  • Experience writing and executing test plans, test cases, and UAT scripts.

  • Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman.

  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, functional testing, integration testing, and defect management.

  • Ability to work across teams including developers, admins, business analysts, and business stakeholders.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Salesforce environments.

  • Has exposure to Automation frameworks for testing (Playwright, CRT, Selenium)

  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

  • ISTQB CTFL certification or equivalent knowledge (preferred but not required).

  • C1 English level: Ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively in English.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and QA processes in continuous delivery environments.

  • Experience validating email journeys, segmentation, or template rendering (Marketing Cloud exposure).

  • Ability to support UAT coordination and user training.

  • Experience working with payment gateways or third-party integration validations.

  • Familiarity with data manipulation and boundary case testing.

  • Knowledge of AI concepts pertaining to quality assurance and testing.
