We are looking for a highly experience Oracle Eloqua specialist to join our team. This is not a high-volume campaign production role. The specialist will own complex Eloqua requirements that go beyond standard campaign execution, including advanced journey orchestration, data-driven segmentation, platform configuration and troubleshooting across MME and 24 NSCs.
Design, build and optimise complex Eloqua Campaign Canvas and Program Canvas solutions, including multi-step journeys, decision logic, re-entry and exit rules, wait logic and complex routing.
Develop advanced Program Builder and Contact Washing Machine workflows for data normalisation, field population, routing and preparation.
Create advanced segmentation using contact fields, shared filters/lists, behavioural and date-based criteria, nested logic and Custom Data Objects (CDOs).
Design and configure CDOs/data cards and their relationships with contacts, segmentation, campaign logic and lifecycle programmes.
Translate lifecycle, audience and business requirements into scalable Eloqua configurations and reusable journey patterns.
Configure and troubleshoot advanced Eloqua capabilities including dynamic content, field merges, forms and form processing, progressive profiling, lead scoring and lead routing.
Support complex data-driven requirements involving Eloqua APIs, SFTP, auto-synchs, external calls and imported audience data.
Investigate complex Eloqua issues involving campaign logic, Program Builder, segmentation, CDOs, data processing, configuration or unexpected contact behaviour.
Work with Integration Specialists and Solution Architects where issues cross the boundary between Eloqua and upstream or downstream systems.
Provide independent functional QA of complex developments and document solution designs, reusable patterns, configuration decisions and troubleshooting outcomes.
You will collaborate with our UK project team, so we’ll need you to be available until 18:00 PL
The ideal candidate is a senior hands-on Oracle Eloqua practitioner with deep platform knowledge beyond standard campaign execution.
Advanced Oracle Eloqua expertise**
Campaign Canvas, Program Canvas, Program Builder, Contact Washing Machine, advanced segmentation, shared filters/lists, CDOs and data cards.
Contact and account data models, dynamic content, field merges, forms, progressive profiling, lead scoring/routing, Eloqua Insight and platform administration.
Data and technical capability
Strong understanding of Eloqua data structures, field relationships, Bulk API 2.0, REST/Application APIs, SFTP, auto-synchs, external calls, data priority and reconciliation.
Ability to use SQL-style logic and data analysis to diagnose segmentation, mapping and data-processing issues.
Journey and lifecycle enablement
Ability to translate objectives and audience requirements into complex lifecycle and always-on journey designs across acquisition, nurture, conversion, ownership, aftersales and retention.
Experience developing scalable patterns for multi-market rollout, contact strategy, frequency rules, eligibility, suppression and journey conflict management.
Troubleshooting and governance
Strong diagnostic ability to trace contact movement, investigate CDO/contact-data issues, identify incorrect mappings or dependencies and distinguish Eloqua issues from upstream data/integration problems.
Working knowledge of GDPR, consent, subscription/preferences, contact-level security, data retention, frequency management and four-eyes QA.
What we are looking for
Significant hands-on Oracle Eloqua experience in complex enterprise or multi-market environments, with the ability to independently diagnose difficult platform problems.
Strong analytical, documentation and stakeholder communication skills; fluent written and spoken English.
Oracle Eloqua certification; AppCloud/Cloud Actions experience; exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud, Salesforce, CDPs or personalisation platforms; automotive, retail or high-volume B2C experience.
