About the Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll lead the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional technology initiatives—owning end-to-end execution while partnering with program leadership to ensure projects meet quality standards, timelines, and client expectations. You’ll also play a key role in casting, aligning the right mix of skills and experience to each project and helping teams operate efficiently at scale.
Responsibilities
Lead projects end-to-end across initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
Define project scope, success criteria, deliverables, dependencies, and resource requirements
Build and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reporting cadences
Manage budgets, forecasting, cost controls, and financial monitoring to support profitability
Support vendor payment coordination and assist in proposal creation as needed
Identify, document, and mitigate project risks through a formal risk register
Facilitate decision-making, change control processes, and stakeholder alignment across functions
Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage resource allocation, including casting for optimal team composition
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and senior leadership, delivering clear communication and executive-level reporting
Enforce project governance, documentation standards, and delivery quality practices
Monitor KPIs and champion continuous improvement practices to strengthen collaboration and execution
About You
Qualifications & Skills
6+ years of project management experience in tech or software environments, including 3+ years in a senior or lead capacity
Strong command of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall, with the ability to design and apply hybrid delivery models
Solid understanding of the SDLC, APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and CI/CD pipelines — enough to partner effectively with engineering teams
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, and Monday.com for project tracking, scheduling, and team collaboration
Demonstrated experience with budget management, cost controls, forecasting, and financial monitoring
Strong stakeholder management skills, including executive-facing communication and reporting
Comfortable working in AI-augmented environments, with familiarity with AI-powered tools, automation workflows, or intelligent agents as part of day-to-day delivery
Excellent written and verbal communication in both Spanish and English
Nice to Have
Certifications such as PMP, SAFe Agilist, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or PRINCE2
Experience mentoring junior PMs and leading through influence in distributed/remote teams.
