**Role: ** Senior Transcreation Manager
**Location: ** Amsterdam, Netherlands (hybrid)
Employment: 12-month FTC with view to extend
We are recruiting a Senior Transcreation Manager to work as part of our team and deliver excellent marketing communication in various languages (transcreations). As Senior Transcreation Manager you will be supervising and oversee transcreation jobs managed by yourself and by team members to ensure successful delivery of premium international marketing communication.
Build client relationship as part of the on-site Global team.
Monitor your client’s satisfaction and take corrective actions to meet and exceed our client’s expectations.
Responsible for quality planning and execution as well as improving transcreation processes, operational capabilities and increasing efficiencies by applying problem-solving techniques.
Responsible for the achievement of transcreation key performance indicators, such as quality and efficiency of language management.
Lead, appraise, mentor and motivate a team of Transcreation Managers and/or Transcreation Executives.
First point of escalation from team members, in-market creatives and clients.
Direct the planning and execution of complex briefs going beyond translation and transcreation, including cultural consultation of campaign assets and ideas and collaboration with Creative and Production teams on localisation of campaign materials.
Accountable for the successful achievement of gross profit targets and organic account growth.
Discuss and negotiate with the client the transcreation scope of work and in agreement with the Transcreation Director.
Minimum of 6+ year working experience in language localisation is essential.
Team management experience.
Mastery in budget management (forecast, estimate, tracking, reconciliation, etc.)
In-depth knowledge about the language industry and preferably experience in managing MT/AI workflows.
Experience handling post-production process across different media as well as transcreation-adjacent workflows such as cultural consultation and QC of localised artwork and audio is a must
University degree in languages, marketing, business or related fields.
Native speaker of a language other than English is highly desirable.
Full English proficiency.
