Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Shoot and edit social-first content for platforms including TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other emerging channels

  • Own content from capture through post-production, including shooting, editing, colour, sound, graphics, captions, and final delivery

  • Translate creative concepts, briefs, and social strategies into engaging visual content

  • Create quick-turn, platform-native edits that feel current without simply chasing trends

  • Capture people, products, events, environments, and cultural moments in an authentic and visually compelling way

  • Direct talent and subjects on set to get natural, engaging performances

  • Work across both polished campaign content and more lo-fi, reactive social content

  • Adapt existing campaign assets into social-first edits and cutdowns

  • Collaborate with creatives, strategists, producers, account teams, and community/social teams

  • Contribute ideas for formats, treatments, transitions, hooks, storytelling approaches, and content series

  • Stay close to evolving social platforms, editing styles, visual trends, music, internet culture, and creator-led formats

  • Manage multiple projects and quick timelines while maintaining a strong creative standard

  • Help build and evolve the visual language of our clients’ social channels

What You'll Bring

  • Experience shooting and editing social, branded content, digital content, or similar work

  • A portfolio or reel that demonstrates strong shooting and editing skills

  • Strong understanding of what makes content work on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other social platforms

  • Excellent editing instincts, including pacing, storytelling, hooks, music, sound design, and transitions

  • Comfortable shooting with professional cameras as well as phones and lightweight social production setups

  • Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools is a plus

  • Strong eye for composition, lighting, framing, and visual storytelling

  • Comfortable directing people who may not be professional on-camera talent

  • Able to work quickly and independently while collaborating closely with a broader creative team

  • Comfortable working across different content styles, brands, industries, and audiences

  • Curious about social culture and constantly paying attention to how content and storytelling are evolving online

You Might Be A Great Fit If You

  • You’re the person who watches a Reel and notices the edit, the framing, the sound choice, and why the first two seconds worked.

  • You’re equally comfortable grabbing a camera and shooting something from scratch as you are taking a folder of footage and finding the story in the edit.

  • You understand that great social content doesn’t always need to look like a commercial — but it does need to feel intentional.

  • And while you’re comfortable working with creators and talent, you don’t need to be the person in front of the camera.

Additional Info

  • Monday - Thursday in office (Fridays are remote optional)

  • Employee recognition and incentive programs

  • Seasonal celebrations and gatherings throughout the year

  • Office lunches

  • Branded company swag

  • Dog-friendly offices
