As a Senior Strategist, you’ll drive strategic clarity and power up our relationship with an iconic global sports brand, ensuring Monks is seen as a valuable strategic partner for one of the world’s biggest brands. Based within our Strategy function, you will provide deep cultural and industry insights to elevate our strategic offering and improve the work we deliver. Illuminate the path to growth internally, setting a clear strategic direction that aligns to client outcomes.
Partner with Client Success to shape ambitious, insight-led briefs and effective scopes of work.
Act as catalysts for business growth, collaborating to identify and unlock new opportunities.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior external client stakeholders, helping them solve consumer challenges and seize emerging opportunities.
Strengthen Monks’ presence with the client—representing our strategic thinking in sessions, meetings, associations, and across key communication platforms.
Act as the senior strategic advisor to the client's Digital Marketing Sports teams.
Shape long-term strategies that align client ambition with Monks’ capabilities and commercial opportunities.
Educate and enhance the client’s Digital Marketing understanding of insights, comms planning, and versioning online and in-person (twice a week).
Proactively identify opportunities and expand Monks’ footprint within the account.
Develop thought-leadership around themes relevant to our scope and projects (e.g., category and sport evolutions, youth culture, and behaviors).
Define best practices for how strategy interacts and impacts an iconic global sports brand.
Ensure strategy consistently provides the “why” that fuels breakthroughs with the client's consumer base.
Champion the use of accelerated insights (AI) to elevate strategic output and impact.
Create clear run of shows, comms planning, and versioning to create impact with consumers across EMEA.
Serve as a key strategic voice to senior clients, aligning strategy to major business priorities.
Represent Monks as a client-facing strategist, elevating our profile with the client.
Lead, inspire, and educate your teammates in the latest and greatest cultural and sports insights.
Help set a culture of curiosity, innovation, and excellence.
Client Presence: Proven success leading senior clients, influencing stakeholders, and navigating complex business environments.
Industry Credibility: Recognised understanding of the sports industry, both from a cultural and community perspective.
