As Artefact continues to grow across the US and Canada, we're looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner (Contract) to help us identify, attract, and hire exceptional talent across consulting and technical disciplines.
This is a hands-on recruiting role for someone who can move quickly, source creatively, partner closely with hiring managers, and maintain a high hiring bar in a competitive market. You'll own searches from intake through offer, build strong candidate pipelines, and help ensure a high-quality experience for both candidates and hiring teams.
As the organization continues to scale, this role may also contribute to broader talent acquisition initiatives, including campus recruiting, talent pipelining, workforce planning, and recruiting process improvements.
Own the full-cycle recruitment process, from intake and sourcing through screening, interview management, offer support, and onboarding coordination
Partner with hiring managers and chapter leads to understand hiring priorities, define role requirements, calibrate candidate profiles, and develop effective search strategies
Recruit across consulting and technical disciplines, including AI, data science, analytics, data engineering, machine learning, and other specialized roles
Build and maintain high-quality candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, direct outreach, referrals, market mapping, and other sourcing channels
Conduct candidate screenings and assess experience, capabilities, and overall fit against role requirements
Deliver a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience through clear communication, timely follow-up, and efficient process management
Develop market intelligence on talent pools, competitor organizations, candidate motivations, and sourcing channels to improve recruiting outcomes
Maintain accurate recruiting data, candidate records, and pipeline reporting to support visibility and decision-making
Own and enforce recruiting processes while identifying opportunities to improve workflows, tools, reporting, and overall recruiting effectiveness
3-5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience within a consulting or professional services environment
Demonstrated experience recruiting for both consulting and technical roles, including AI, data, analytics, engineering, or other specialized technical positions
Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, or evolving environment where priorities shift quickly and recruiters are expected to work with a high degree of autonomy
Strong hands-on sourcing experience, including proactive outreach, market mapping, pipeline development, referrals, and passive candidate engagement
Proven ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining quality, speed, and attention to detail
Strong hiring manager partnership skills, including the ability to advise, calibrate, influence, and keep searches moving forward
Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
Experience working with Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, recruiting platforms, and reporting tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented mindset with sound judgment, resilience, and a strong sense of urgency
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
Contract position
20-30 hours per week, with flexibility based on business needs
Up to $60/hour
Remote or hybrid, depending on location
