We are looking for a senior, highly analytical and execution-oriented leader to own and strengthen Demand & Supply Management, Resource/Capacity Planning, Process Excellence, and Management Reporting. This role will serve as the central point of orchestration between business demand and available supply/capacity, ensuring that requirements are accurately forecasted, prioritized, fulfilled, and tracked. The individual will establish strong operating mechanisms, streamline processes, drive governance, and build dashboards that provide leadership with clear visibility into demand, capacity, utilization, fulfilment, risks, and operational performance.
**
Demand & Supply Management
Own the end-to-end demand and supply planning process, from demand intake through fulfillment and closure.
Consolidate and validate demand across business units, programs, projects, geographies, and skill groups.
Develop short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts and capacity plans.
Map demand against available capacity/supply and proactively identify gaps, surpluses, bottlenecks, and emerging risks.
Drive prioritization and allocation decisions when demand exceeds available capacity.
Establish mechanisms for demand aging, fulfillment tracking, capacity management, utilization, and deployment.
Partner with relevant teams to develop mitigation plans for supply gaps, including hiring, internal movement, upskilling, cross-utilization, or other capacity levers.
Improve forecast accuracy through historical trend analysis and regular reconciliation of planned versus actual demand.
Process Excellence & Governance
Assess existing processes and identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and scale operations.
Design clear end-to-end workflows covering demand intake, validation, prioritization, allocation, fulfillment, escalation, and closure.
Define SLAs, KPIs, process controls, ownership, and escalation mechanisms.
Establish a strong operating cadence, including weekly operational reviews and monthly/quarterly business reviews.
Reduce manual interventions, process leakage, duplicate effort, and turnaround time.
Create and maintain SOPs, process documentation, governance frameworks, and RACI models.
Drive continuous improvement using data, root-cause analysis, and measurable improvement initiatives.
Dashboards, Analytics & Reporting
Build and maintain executive-level dashboards and operational scorecards that translate complex data into actionable business insights.
Develop reporting across key metrics such as:
Demand pipeline and demand aging
Supply/capacity availability
Demand vs. supply gaps
Fulfillment rate and fulfillment TAT
Utilization and capacity trends
Forecast vs. actuals
Skill/location/business-unit gaps
SLA adherence
Productivity and operational KPIs
Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports with clear commentary on trends, risks, root causes, and recommended actions.
Move reporting from descriptive reporting toward predictive and decision-oriented analytics.
Ensure strong data quality, reconciliation, metric definitions, and a consistent source of truth.
Automate recurring reports and dashboards wherever possible.
Stakeholder & Leadership Management
Act as a trusted partner to senior business, delivery, operations, finance, HR/talent, and functional leaders.
Lead demand/supply and capacity review meetings with senior stakeholders.
Challenge assumptions and influence stakeholders using data-backed insights and scenario analysis.
Provide leadership with early visibility into capacity constraints, fulfilment risks, and operational bottlenecks.
Drive decisions and actions across teams where there may be competing priorities.
Own escalations and ensure issues are driven to closure with clear accountability.
Success in this role will be measured through:
Improved demand forecast accuracy
Higher demand fulfilment rate
Reduction in demand aging and fulfilment turnaround time
Improved capacity utilization
Reduced demand/supply mismatch
Improved SLA adherence
Increased process standardization and automation
Improved data quality and reporting accuracy
Stronger visibility of business risks through leadership dashboards
Faster and more data-driven management decision-making
10–15+ years of experience in Business Operations, Resource Management, Workforce Planning, Capacity Planning, PMO, Delivery Operations, or a related function
Strong hands-on experience managing demand, supply, capacity, resource allocation, and forecasting.
Demonstrated experience designing and improving complex cross-functional business processes.
Strong understanding of operational governance, KPIs, SLAs, controls, and performance management.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
Excellent dashboarding and management reporting skills.
Strong proficiency in Excel and at least one BI/reporting platform such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources; exposure to SQL, data automation, or workflow automation is highly desirable.
Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
Ability to independently manage senior stakeholders and drive outcomes across teams without direct authority.
Strong attention to detail while maintaining a broader strategic and commercial perspective.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have:
Managed demand and capacity across large, complex, matrixed organizations.
Built a demand/supply or resource management function rather than only operated an existing process.
Designed dashboards and reporting frameworks from the ground up.
Successfully automated manual operational processes and reporting.
Experience conducting scenario planning and what-if analysis for capacity and workforce decisions.
Demonstrated ability to identify a business problem through data and drive the corresponding corrective action to measurable closure.
